I've got a bunch of ideas here, but feel free to go with your own ideas that match my selected tags and avoids the DNWs. I'm open to a whole lot of things.

I have extra notes/ideas for some of the AUs, but please know that I'm enthusiastic about every single one that I've requested and am happy with whatever you matched on or inspires you.


DNW:
These are the things I don't want in a gift - usually. Some additions and exceptions are noted under individual fandoms' details.

- breaking the fourth wall (characters looking at/speaking to us, the audience)
- dom/sub, rape, spanking, fisting, scat, race kink, sex involving characters under 16
- canon characters dying permanently (exceptions: canon deaths for Arcane and My Hero Academia), hopeless endings, addiction
- focus on torture, serial killers, zombies (unless present in canon), eating of any sapient species
- unrequested non-canon ships. (A 'canon ship' means whatever romantic relationship, crushing, flirting, implied romantic relationship, sex, unrequited love or past relationship happened in canon, as long as it stays on the same level as canon.)

Extra Hiveswap/Homestuck DNWs:
- Humanstuck where ancestors are the human-trolls' parents.
- Trolls' blood colour being evident through their skin by default. (If they're blushing a lot it's A-OK if it's visible, or if there are other special circumstances. Basically, I don't want to be wondering how everyone didn't clock Karkat as a mutant as soon as they clapped eyes on him.)
- Gamzee being pure evil.
- The Epilogues and H^2 info.
- Earth C as the post-canon setting.

I was impressed by him when he was a kid running around all the secret hideaways and getting info without anyone knowing about it, and was over the moon when he came back on the scene with the ultimate in secret hideaways and inviting so many others to join him. This is a character I just want to keep seeing being Really Cool, bonus: doing unexpected things to work against the system. Have him interacting with anybody, from canon characters (I'm interested in everyone) all the way to solely OCs from his group.

Doesn't have to involve a LOTR setting - can just be porting that quest practically intact into a canon context. I like the idea of this AU for the exploration of the character's ultimate temptation, or what might save them from succumbing (whether by LOTR themes or their own canon's themes, or a blend). For art I'd also love something that blends the age-old legend vibe with the more modern and punk Arcane vibe in some way.

ALL: Everyone wakes up amnesiac
I'm down for this anywhere in the canon timeline - when they're younger or the older versions, somewhere in the middle or the finale suddenly being disrupted.

ALL: Homestuck AU
I'm down for an Arcane version of a SBURB playthrough, or something involving the plot points of HS more. It would be great to see Ekko being inclined to break the Game and what (at least a little) success would look like. Homestuck art style influence is welcome. PS: I feel like I should say it's fine if he's a Time player or something else. Time is such a gimme but I'm happy to see any classpect.

Actually, literally any grouping of the alpha kids, beta kids, and beta trolls is good by me, even if not requested. EFRW shaking up the way the characters relate to each other, and the possibilities for who connects to who, is part of the fun. There's also room for changing the canon backstories to get new or different connections going - without the game, for example, maybe Feferi never felt free enough to break up with Eridan, or it happened later in their lives after more drama (but before the landlords scooped them up)? Did Aradia and Sollux have different reactions to the different form of d00m that was coming their way?

I prefer the aesthetic where they're on a planet or have access to one rather than the one where they're solely in a space ship. It's the tragic orphan vibes that the betas have as their backstory, it makes me want to have scattered pseudo-Victorian vibes and some gothic architecture.

EFRW: love the recovery, individually-tuned mindfucks, unexpected bonding. For Feferi, what it does to her point of view being exposed to such horrifically different horrorterrors than what she was used to from her lusus. If set pre-soul vore, I'd love something that plays up horror tropes - whether of the cosmic (tentacle-y dreams! Non-Euclidean space! Eroded sense of reality!), or psychological (including for Evil Rose and Evil John, and any fear and self-justification that exists in them), or sexual kind.
DNW exceptions: Rape is completely fine here, also the permanent deaths of Evil Rose and Evil John. Sexy torture is fine, especially if there's no permanent damage beyond scars.

EFRW + Ancestors: same as the above. Also interested in the adult trolls regaining a sense of purpose, since most of them were firmly on particular paths. Are they still going to be interplanetary conquerors/revolutionaries spreading their word across the galaxy/etc. after [time is meaningless] of torture? And I like the younger trolls bonding with adults who aren't their ancestors because of finding some other piece of commonality or the ancestor-descendant relationship being too fraught.
DNW exceptions: Rape is completely fine here, also the permanent deaths of Evil Rose and Evil John. Sexy torture is fine, especially if there's no permanent damage beyond scars.

EFRW But Nice: I still like the scattered pseudo-Victorian vibes here, just, you know, with socially approved fuckfests. I enjoy a sense of everyone getting to know each other personality-wise and/or kink-wise, worldbuilding, the Egbert-Lalonde harem plotting to take down Doc Scratch, and/or everyone enjoying a sense of freedom from their pasts. For the alpha kids, it would be good to see their pre-harem lives even without the part of them being in the harem too. Feel free to bring in Beforans or Hiveswap trolls on this one if desired.

For HS a full-on parody works well, especially with canon's LOTR refs. Feel free to bring in PM as the person casting the ring into the volcano once again.

ALL: The Martian AU (someone left behind on Mars)
Since Crockercorp was terraforming Mars in the alpha kids' timeline, this seemed like a fun possibility. If involving the trolls, I'd prefer humanstuck or a human/troll(/etc/) society.

Homestuck: Trollstuck
I prefer Dirk to be a lowblood and that none of the humans are heiresses for their troll versions. Who's a great troll, who doesn't really fit into society? Are there betrayals similar to the beta trolls' FLARP revenge cycle? Alternia or Beforus?

ALL: Accidental Baby Acquisition AU
Total AU or more canon setting both work for me. It's fine whether it's all humanstuck and someone's raising the baby that got left on their doorstep in a basket, or if there was an ectobiology accident and now they are parents.

ALL: Fuck/Marry/Kill Is Sometimes Legally Binding
This feels SO Alternian. Or something the Condesce would impose on a place she conquered.

ALL: Symbiote AU
By this I mean taking the concept of a Venom-from-Marvel symbiote. I don't mind whether this is a whole new symbiote character or if it's a canon character that is now a symbiote.

Kisara/Thief King Bakura (To explain this never-met pair: I like them for possibilities of fluff as two reviled outcasts from society find each other and build something genuine; or for possibilities of dysfunction as Kisara is desperate to be wanted by anyone, and Bakura is desperate to make use of her dragon's destructive power.)

ALL: Werewolves
I love werewolves with horror elements, including gore and body horror, but I also love sooooooo many tropes under this umbrella so feel free to go in any direction. This can be about the requested characters having to deal with sudden werewolves or being werewolves themselves. Small DNW exception: If some people get eaten in the background, that's fine.

ALL: Fifth Element AU
I'd like more of the general aesthetic and the wonderful cheesiness of the whole "The fifth element is LOVE" thing. Feel free to riff off a scene in the movie, put the characters in any movie canon outfit whatsoever, or go for more of an "inspired by" feeling.

Some ideas for changes, if needed: Isis decides not to take Malik out for one day in the sunshine? (Does Shadi still show up to try and mess with the Ishtars so they do what is required to help the Nameless Pharaoh?) Malik succeeds in avoiding getting his back scarred up and having Yami Malik sparked into existence? Rishid decides to find a different path than allowing Malik to build the Rare Hunters? Maybe Kisara travels back to the point where she was cast out into the desert and somehow prevents that? Or it's preventing the Kul Elna massacre, or going back further and getting rid of the Book of Millennium Magic that Akunadin used to get the spell that led to the Kul Elna massacre ... I'm up for the series lore being upended.

ALL: Alternate Ending AU
If Bakura/Kisara, if this focuses on the end of the Egypt Arc plotline (...whatever that might have been when it wasn't an RPG...) and doesn't involve the future events, that's good too.

ALL: Character on Parole with Exploding Collar
Canon setting or more AU are both fine. Like if Malik and Rishid did different crimes to get collared, or Isis is the collared one, or it's modern AU Bakura or Kisara.

Remarried Empress: Navier is the one who saves Rashta
I'd love if Navier was the one who helps out a runaway slave one day. Does Rashta become a handmaiden (but probably wants to work a way up to lady-in-waiting at least)? Navier tries to encourage Rashta to think of her own education and future? Rashta wondering if she could trust Navier to help her get in touch with the child she had to leave behind? Maybe their first encounter and the rescue play out in a different way, because Navier isn't as impulsive as Sovieshu. What would be the politics, the build-up or breakdown of trust, potential scheming from either or both... I don't mind whether this ends with them getting along or if there are irreconcilable differences.
Also in general it would be great if Navier made a decision to start abolishing slavery, or thinking about ways to have stricter laws about the treatment of slaves in general that could be seen as taking a direction in the step of not allowing slaves anymore... I'd just like it.

I love Chrissy and Eddie interacting any which way, so platonic is good too, and still has some fun things to explore with how oh no, they are from such different high-school walks of life ... how can this friendship be ... (adorably). And I'm intrigued by that line Max has in s2 about how she's scared of being too much like Billy. What does that fear look like if they're marked as being a good platonic match? A meaner Max, a kinder Billy, way more standoffishness between them because they don't want to acknowledge the marks, it becoming something of a life raft?

Obviously I'm down for Endhawks, but with the solo Endeavor tag I'll also mention other relationships I'd be into, as a possible direction to go with. Enji/Rei (whether it ends better with the AU influence, or is an exploration of how it falls apart differently), /All Might, /Tsukauchi, /Mirko all work for me. Gen interactions with the romantic options works too, as well as any Todoroki kid, Deku, or Best Jeanist.

I'm here for sillier takes (the high-end nomu has just enough of a spark of personality left that he doesn't want to attack a pregnant dude, however strong, and becomes a bodyguard/family pet instead?) or more serious ones - if Hawks is pregnant, is there a different spy in with the League of Villains and do they get the info about the upcoming war out in time? Is Dabi getting more murderous because Dad's obviously trying to replace him AGAIN? Also here for porny takes - Enji with a pregnancy kink that gets kicked into high gear, pregnancy hormones meaning that there's ill-advised sex...

ALL: Homestuck AU
Whether a SBURB playthrough, or something involving the plot of HS more with e.g. players from different sessions and species reaching out to each other. Would Enji and/or Hawks end up as dead guardians (and please resurrected by whatever method) or is this a situation with adult players figuring out how to deal with SBURB trying to get them to have a bildungsroman? Maybe they're carapacians or trolls or cherubs.

I'd be interested in relating this to kid Hawks who clung to Endeavour as his shining light - so if Endeavour's off the scene for a lengthy amount of time, that could have an effect? Other scenarios also welcome! There are many points in canon where either of them going missing would make things go excitingly wrong. Or perhaps ... right?

ALL: Like canon but living under alien rule as work force and slaves
Maybe heroes are even more for entertainment under this system? Maybe the heroes and villains are working together to overthrow the alien overlords. All For One could even be a good guy in these circumstances sort of!

ALL: Homeward Bounders AU
I'd be into Enji and/or Hawks as people walking the bounds in a similarly melancholy way as Jamie at the end - they'd be perfect for that! - but I'd also be down for a fix-it from that situation. Putting them in one or more of the different worlds glimpsed in the book also works, though I would like something that uses a bit of the overarching plot elements of the book too. Or Enji in the Prometheus role, maybe? The shared fire aspect makes me think of it.



BNHA: The flashback deaths in chapter 357 don't occur
Loved that tidbit of information, and I'd also love an exploration of the effects if it wasn't there. The presence of a Todoroki grandparent, the absence of that trauma as a motivating force for young Enji, what psychological aftereffect it might have if Enji's dad survived but was injured, or if that death happened later on in a different way. (I could see a horrible fiery death at some point after Touya starts getting himself regular burn wounds doing SOMETHING in the family dynamics, whether better or worse.) Maybe the girl that Enji's dad couldn't save would have some kind of effect - whether incidentally, or ending up with a relationship with the Todoroki family due to gratefulness? The villain lives and becomes a nemesis or idk, really unexpected mentor to young Enji? There's a possibility that the deaths occurred because Enji's dad lost control of his fire - if that doesn't happen, does Enji have less of a fixation on control? Does he not get the idea to have kids with built-in temperature controls at all? (...although I love the Todorokids and would be fine if they showed up somehow anyway...)
